Well, I've been working on the bases of this map.

I need suggestions of what to use to fill some paths and anything else is also welcomed.

PLEASE DO NOT POST ABOUT THE TEXTURE MISALIGNMENTS.


Check it out, leave soem feedback.


Everything relies on a mid, so I need suggestions for a mid and how to make mid not so much of a bottleneck.

(Remember, this is only a base of the map)

Make an arch above a route, then giant icicles hanging from it and some have fallen to the ground. There's a neat idea for you :P

Well in _b2, there was this ramp thing just out of main. That might be a good spot, thanks.

I took a look to b2 and i like previous rock texture more. This grey feels cold. And for more filler ideas, basic rocks, rock pillars, sunken barrels maybe tilt them a bit and would be cool if you could get a fallen tree there. Also a collapsed arch

Why not have some nice looking snowy rocks jutting out of the ground, providing players with jumps? To beautify it, you can also add small icicles under it. For fun, see if you can add a snowman! Maybe that'll provide you with a doublejumping position.

Balls are pretty hard to create, i tried to create a ball once but from close distance it looked really blocky:/

Well, one way that would work would be to make the snowman a model. They're not really hard to model, I'd do it if I had the time, but you could take transparent blocks and put them in the same place. That way you could actually use the snowman.

Could you download the map next time *sigh*. It has been re-made for _b3 and doesn't look like 69 anymore. Oh, btw, I'm the only one working on this map right now, so intercourse cusoman.

Ooo. I liked it. I'm not a mapper so idk what to tell you to critique :D (in other words, there's nothing i'd change). Are you going to put in a blue base soon? And I really liked that jump to get to the high part of the map with all the platforms sticking out of the wall. Gj Rick and Cuso. (YOU MADE ME MISS LAGJUMPS 0 IN THE JUMP SERV TO SEE IT :(

There isn't that much to judge on, but:

Screen 1: Misaligned light textures
Screen 2: General misalighned wood with vertical (not right angled) ends
Screen 3: WTF is that meant to be, a barrel with a boner?
Screen 4: Random floor intersecting misaligned wood brushes ew.

There are plenty of seemingly randomly placed floor-intersecting misalighned planks of wood all over the place :/

Like the trees though :)
