Well, as only a few select people know, the digital paintball 2 clan "Metal Militia" was founded on December 23rd, 2004, so it will be time to celebrate pretty soon. Celebrate anything in dp? What about a tournament? Yay!

Well, I've been working on a website with signups, schedule and all that stuff for about a week now, and it is not done yet... but I thought I might give you a date for your orientation when you might have to be online for an interesting event. It will probably be held on Monday, December 26th, starting at like.. 2 or 3 pm EST I think, but the final data will be displayed on the website.
Currently I still have some problems with the page, like:
- you can only see the news when you are logged in
- the scheduling... might be dynamic if I get it done, but I have barely started on that
- Layout looks great on Mozilla, but not as good on Internet Explorer... might create a workaround, might not..

But registration will be open starting this sunday I think (I'm not handing out the url yet, as too much is unfinished). Prepare for battle

well, as you all know, whenever something new is launched it will be delayed... at least only 1 day delay on this one:

some things to mention:
- if you read the rules, you might feel that not all of them comply with your own ideas about a tournament... nobody makes you participate. Either accept the rules or dont play.
- I have worked hard to make the first round scheduling the most fair scheduling possible: it is completely based on random assignment, and it is recalculated every once in a while... so it will change constantly, nobody knows who will play who until the tournament starts (I just have to remember to exclude that function upon tournament start, or else everything will end up in a mess)
- if you find errors on the page, dont hesitate to PM me on the forums or via email, IRC and alike....
- no idea what else to say, so... have fun

2 pm EST is 8 am MEZ....bah its much too early for me

If its start at 6 pm EST its still good for the amis and good for us (12).

actually, I am planning to set up 4 tourny-servers for that day, with some fitting settings (no grenades, 8 min timelimit etc), so I suppose your offer is nice but we wont need it

I'm glad you want to participate, as I have seen you playing like... once or twice only.

@Dirty Taco: its 1on1, yup... does your post mean that you feel you cant keep up with the others when it comes down to a 1on1 challenge?

exactly =) btw, timelimit is 8 minutes, so... you cant even lose bad if u suck with PGP
