I always thought [Fences] looked ugly with vista/7 for some reason though.

Match the theme/glass color to it? :D
I don't know, but I think I pulled it off pretty well with a general black/gray/white color scheme.

Oh, and Win7 taskbar > RocketDock :P

Speaking of which, anyone do the update to Ubuntu 10.04 yet (or planning to)?

And Zorch, how did you get the semi-opaque taskbars? (me=linuxnoob)

Right click the panel > Properties > Background (tab).  You can even use an image as a backgrond for the thing.

Edit: loltaskbar.

lol debatable it is.
have you tried the new kde 4.4 they implemented quite a few new options.
install it on a usb stick and run it live, see how you will like it.

@Zorch
Yeah, that's 10.04, though I'm not sure if I like the new version better. In 10.04, I can't just drag windows across workspaces anymore; I have to right-click on the window and select which workspace I want it to go to. Also, it deletes some of my drivers upon updating. It also pulls a Mac and puts the min/max/close buttons on the left side, but its an easy fix via gconf-editor.

Oh and thanks for the semi-opaque taskbar tips.

What?  That would drive me crazy.  I'm always dragging windows around.  Does it still support Compiz?
