DP2Demo2AVI help.
« on: August 24, 2008, 01:19:22 PM »
I dont want to bump up the DP2Demo2AVI thread because it is a year old, so i am posting my problem here ;). I have installed everything correctly but when i try to convert a dm2 there is no Output file in the folder ???. I dont know if i am doing something wrong or not, so i am going to post all the stuff it says in the program (even the stuff i type.)  I will bold anything that might help solve the problem. anything i type will be in italics.

ViciouZ wrote the actual converter (which is what he's using) in its entirety. I just wrote the frontend, which isn't in use anywhere.

Sadly :-P

First off, I wouldn't bother using my script as it is generally easier to use Fraps or Taksi to record from the screen.

However, if you want to persevere with using the tool, could you please tell me which version you are using.

Did you type that whole thing out yourself? :P

To find out the version, look in the readme file or the name of the installer.

Next time, click the maximise button on the black window, scroll so you can see all of the text, then hold alt and press print screen. Then go into paint and hold control and v. You can then save a screenshot of the text and upload it using the advanced options button on the reply page.
