you can camera someone in third person view, but to play no you cannot...hence why its called a First Person Shooter, not Third person shooter :-)

The camera command is available to everybody by default, though it can be configured otherwise.

Build 15 is available since August :P u can grab it there: http://dpball.com/files/clients/

Some people dont like this version, but try for yourself. There will never be a "full" version of build 15, it will ever be the pretest version...thats what jitspoe said.

So try this or wait for build 16.

Dragon Net: Calm down on your posting rate and try to keep things on topic.  There is no map with a railgun.

There is a map called pgp, but I didn't make it, and it has no railgun.

If you read what he said, he said there is no map with a railgun. Weather he could just use some of the guns from the original quake 2 it would be pretty cool but i doubt that it is going to happen. Although I did think that I heard someone mention that extra powerfull guns would be put in. Is this true or is it just a rumour jitspoe?

wtf?!?!? I was just telling you that because it looked as if you didn't understand. I was being polite and pointing out information that I thought you had missed and cause of your random temper you start flaming me, so be quiet and stop flaming when people are being polite. And stop being a detective.

This has nothing to do with the topic of the thread, nor does it even have to do with paintball.  I do have some maps on my site for Quake2.  If you have any more questions about them, please start a thread about that explicitly in the "other stuff" forum so we can keep these forums more organized.

Jits has said 'soon', but that could mean up to 2-3 months.
