When I was in Kansas City back in the mid 90's, I played paintball in a cave. It had a hard surface to walk on but the rest was rock.Thinking along those lines, doing a larger cave, with some huts and maybe a small creek/water seepage might be neat. Here's a vid of the cave: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Px64cpFFkDQweb site: http://jaegers.com/
edited. Why did you model it out in quake 1? Or was that a pre-existing map.
I was thinking an idea of somthing like a big warehouse that goes outside and has some sweet jumps. Like that one on the tonyhawk stuff cept for paintball
Heh. I don't think that's a quake engine. HLDP, perhaps (which is quake-esque, but shut up)?
DarkPlaces has high-res textures and various *mapping effects.
...but they didn't fix the sky?
