I know he has a link for the download, but I'm talking about when will he have build 24 done and out for final download. I already got the beta build 24.

Technically speaking, this game is still in the alpha stage.  That version you have is the "final" build 24.

he has not fully compleated alpha build 24, its still in its beta form, if not then why has he not released it to everyone on the Files/Downloads page? Well enough fighting, all i want to know is when he expects himself to be done.

Here we go.....

The releases are based on "Jit-Time"

Jits never has a planned release date for anything. It's always "When he gets around to it".

Since Jits does have a Real Life(tm) and there are no other developers, DP takes a secondary role.

If you go back to previous releases, there is no rhyme or reason to when they get released, unless he makes a release and creates a nasty bug that needs to be patched immediately. Reading past posts and threads would show this trend.

Oh wait....

You're probably too lazy, as you have indicated in the past, to be bothered to do that....

i was just asking, all i needed was a simple answer but yet you had to add a immature remark at the end.

I downloaded and installed build 24, and it crashed on me more often than build 23, so I reinstalled the whole thing to go back to build 23.

I have found later that the game will crash on me occasionally if my resolution in the game is any higher than 640 x 480.  I've tested it on an ATI Radeon x1550 and a ATI Radeon HD2600, and it seems to crash on both if the res is higher than 640x480.  It doesn't always crash, and not immedialtely.  In build 24, it crashes after about 4 minutes, in build 23, it takes about 15 to 30 minutes, and it usually depends on how many people are on the server.  The more on the server, the faster it crashes.   If i put the res back to 640x480, I can play all day with no crashes.  Weird.  The game even plays very smoothly up to 1600x1200 res with this graphics card.  Only problem is that is crashes after a while.

Try different drivers for the vid card. That solves a lot of crashing with ATI based cards.

I downloaded the latest drivers available for these cards, and it still did it.  I assumed that it must just be more compatible with Nvidia.  Is that not the case?

ok,

Did you remove the old drivers, reboot, then install the new drivers?

Yes.  I actually did it a while ago to solve a problem with a different game.  It did actually work for the other game, but not this one.  Could be some other hardware I have, because on both of these computers, the only difference in hardware is that one has the HD2600 card, and the other has the x1550,   mobo, cpu, memory, harddrives, and everything else are the same.  So it's possible that it is the mobo or something.

Actually, my brother has the same computer as well with an x1550, and it does it on his too.  So there is something common here.  Not sure what it is though.  They are all ATI, so I figured it was just ATI, and that it is perhaps more compatible with Nvidia.

You will find that players with ATI based cards have more issues than players with Nvidia based cards.

That's what I figured.  Seems that a lot of games favor Nvidia more than ATI.  I'll be getting an Nvidia soon, so I'll be able to verify if that is the problem.  It will be three days before it gets here though.
