DP login suggestion (Ability to add notes to join clan requests)

i think that when you ask to be accepted into a clan, you should be able to say a short note (like 100 characters or less) about who you are or who told you to send a request in or something. you know what i mean?

If this does go through, it would be nice if a leader would be able to choose if this message was sendable (or whatever).  Some people would find it useful, but invite only clans wouldn't really want it there.  And to be hidden from the public as well, it would fill up the clan pages so much.

yes the message would only be shown to the leaders so it wouldnt be on the clan page. and yes the leaders of the clan should be able to turn the mode on/off

going off of what cam said, maybe also have a setting on a clan page to set the clan to invite only? Where noone can see the "request membership to this clan" button or whatever, and only clan leaders can see the "invite" box.

I don't really see why this is necessary, though.  Shouldn't you be in communication with the clan leader already?

and alot of times people arent in communication with the clan leader. but like in some clans i know members who have told me to ask to join and i think that if like a little note saying so and so told me to send in a request might help the leader know its not just a random person trying to get in. xD

It's pointless some random person could go and look at the roster and then click the join button and say whatever person told them to join.

i dont think its pointless. i mean ya someone could do that but i dont think any leader would just add someone without making sure by whoever told them to join.
 also, maybe in the feature vote a leader can send a personal message to the people he is inviting into the clan? just a thought xD

also, you could add in there when you go to denie them, you can put a little message say why you denid them.
