The DPL will be hosting its first Free Paintball2
Signups End 12/13/08
Tournament begins 12/15/08.
The game format will be 3v3 CTF Double elim.
DPL Rules apply.

Event Details:
- 3v3 Tournament
- Event capped at 8 teams with 2 reserves.
- Game format will be 2 flag CTF
- Double Elimination
- 1 Round = 7 Days
- Matches must be played on DPL Private Servers
- 3 Games Best 2 out of 3 declares Match winner
- DPL Rulebook is in effect for this event
- Other event info below

Server Settings
- Time Limit 15 minutes (per game)
- Points 50
- Friendly fire is Off

Map Rotation
The map rotation will be taken from the top votes from player registrations.

Note*
- Im looking to use this event as a good test run for the layout & servers. This is our first event so please bare with me if there are a few bumps along the way. I have done just about all i can to keep things running smoothly but please understand there is only so much you can plan for vs what actually happens.

As usual if there are any questions or suggestions by all means post up.

is the 3 players just 3 players per team or 3 players playing at the same time? If it's the first option you may want to allow 2-3 subs for lag issues or someone just not being able to attend.

Matches may only be played on DPL Match servers for tracking reasons.
Outside Server matches will result in disqualification of both teams.

So US server only ?

are you going to extend the date considering the tourney is monday and you only have 1 team signed up?

i would also try to hold it on a weekend so people don'thave to deal with school.

i realize that but i mean like increase the registration date which is 12/1/08 because so far he has only 1 team registered.

Yep rounds themselves are 1 week long.
Pretty much teams have 1 week to schedule and play there match then post up the screen shots. Then we move on to round 2 being the next series of matches spread across a week. So the tournament will span across a month with plenty of time for teams to get together schedule there match and play.

The event is going to get pushed back. Ill post the date soon.
