ok i am finshing up on the sand_land_b2 umm if some one can tell me some more things to fix i will be happy :D
Fix the things I pointed out in the demo and post another beta.  Get feedback on the new map, fix new issues, and repeat, until you have a solid map.

Dude, with the mapping reputation you have, NO ONE is going to download the map until they at least see what they're downloading. Screenshots! And can't you just upload the map as an attachment? It's so much easier for people to download.

You're lucky I'm such a nice, amazing person. I attached a few screenshots AND the map file for easier download.

what should the flag base texture be?

1) grass
2) sand
3) dirt

Can't lie, this map was better than I thought it would be. Lol. Still not saying it's amazing though.

For one thing, the ice on either side of the map is fugly. Use an ice texture.
What is its purpose? As if the map wasn't fast enough, you had to add 2 EMPTY ICE paths. GG.
There are lots of misaligned textures, the top of the side wall frames for instance. (Screenshot 4 from my last post, leftmost side)
If I recall, the low path wasn't amazing either. Change it up. Right now, the map is still a box.

this map was not well formed, too many misaligned textures, brushes not needed in the map, lights are all messed up, floor was not well created and I could go on, but I cant because I ran out of ss to look at, XD

LOL. I didn't even notice it when I took a screenshot of it. I was focused on getting the base. Not my problem to fix though. XD

I didn't download the map, but your map leaks. Some part of your map has a hole, leaking light into the outside void. This is why you needed to put an excessive number of light sources.

Beta 1 does not appear to leak, according to the screenshots.

That's not even needed to be pointed out. Most of this guy's maps have leaks. Beta 1 didn't have one because it was a box. Now Beta 2 is a slightly more complicated box. They definitely went wrong somewhere.

From the screenshots, this later version doesn't look too bad... though some of the textures are ugly.

Does it not say on the mapping forum to not put your map inside of a box so that there are no leaks? If what musik said is true than anyone who puts there map inside of a box should stop posting there map to the forum and fix it and the leak even before the maper can reply to any of the posts here.
