BSP Compiling Error
« on: December 05, 2008, 09:26:58 PM »
When the map was being fastvised/full compiled 2 errors occurred. While the map part was being compile the Error was: File Write Failure - The 2nd Error While Light World was compiling: Empty Map

When I used qbsp.bat I got the Error: Line 1182 is incomplete

Now i searched for problems like this and only found other topics with the "line incomplete problem" so i opened it up in wordpad. But thats a lot of lines to count and i don't know if you can "skip" to a specific line.

If anyone knows whats wrong please reply, Thanks

Not sure that I completely understand but Ctrl+f is the find search feature.  Is that what you need to jump to a certain line in the .map file?

Without seeing your source .map, I'm not sure what to suggest. If you are still having trouble, I'd be happy to take a look at it for you.

Try Notepad++, you can just Search > Go To > *the line you want*.

With regular old notepad you can hit ctrl+g to go to a certain line as well.
