Well i was working on this about 2 months ago and i got ungrounded last week after 1 week and i decided to finish this map


And yes it looks empty because i am not sure where to put some things

1. Nice Idea.
2. Add some more ways to the flag. (It`s easy campable)
3. Fill the empty ways with boxes or barrels, its really empty.

-the ramps that are 'leaning' on the barrels aren't actually touching.. they are just floating in mid air.
-rotate the sides wood of the ramp
-misaligned light boxes low
-light in low area seems a little too white/bright compared to the rest of it
-brushes in the bridge are overlapping if you look from underneath
-misaligned boxes
-the 'flame' brush is really thick and you can see it too well. also the flame on has one 'panel' to it (i.e. it's flat) i believe there is a .map file out there so you can copy it from jitspoe's tut map to yours directly so that it is right.

ok them are all easy fixes ill have done for beta 2 any more ideas or problems with map?

Little humps or box jumps to pick up speed on a flat run? Or to much in the way.

He means that in your map, you have too much flat space. Add some small hills or slopes to help those fast runners become even faster. :)

I recorded a demo pointing out some things you might want to revise on the map, then I uploaded the map to the beta server and played it since there were people on.  I posted a demo of that as well.  The middle area of the map is actually pretty fun, and I take back what I said about spawning with weapons.  Any more than 4 weapons would probably turn this map into a spray fest.  You may consider moving the guns a little further from the spawns, though.  Maybe put like 1 on each path to encourage people to go different ways.  The bases themselves are probably a bit too easy to defend.  I think one person could just sit on the stairs and shoot anybody who tries to grab the flag.  Another thing I'd like to see is make it easier to drop down from the roof.  The holes aren't quite big enough.  Maybe expand the whole base a bit to make it easier to get into.

edit- i just read what you said jits so ill fix that to in next beta
 also i dont know why the demos aint working because i added them to the demo folder but cant find the demo

Some of the paths seem to open.  It might be good to add some type of obstacle(s) in there to make them less plain looking.

I played this map on beta server. The only path what is really used is the main middle path. Add something special like cockers or something to other paths. And maybe lower end weapons for spawn like vm or something... And in one place, there is sticking grey stone out of brown.

EDIT: and it's odd looking when you take the underground path that it suddenly switches from brown stone to grey.

ew i thought i fixed that ok and i am thinking about adding spyders to spawns and maybe cocker in paths. i hope i can get beta 2 working but i dont know how to upload to any site

assuming the spawns are the same in _b2 (Cause i played _b1 on the beta serv) the spawn area gets really crowded when a round starts. Also would be very easy to spawn camp since they are all lined up.. maybe spread them around the base a little
