*New Map* [zB]castlewar

Here is a new map from the clan zb I hope that everyone will enjoy it would appreciate feedback

known bugs:lighting tweaks, small schematic issues

features: 3 level castle three mid flags across each level caps are at top of opponents base, flags on fountains

this is a good map to start ur skills on but tbh ice every where? im not trying to flame u or anything like that but maybe u should do some reading with some of the tutorials out there

The r_speeds are wayyyyyy to high. People with bad computers couldnt play the map..

I've attached a demo pointing out some things you might want to revise... basically everything.  Not to be harsh, but almost none of the brushes are aligned in that map.  There are gaps, overlaps, and misaligned textures all over the place.  The grid is your friend!

Umm the map is really laggy for my computer so this map is not good srry not trying  to be harsh D:

Nick, I'm sorry, but you can't really talk about mapping after stealing cfire and dew_teamwork.

This map seems like little to no care has been given to the grid sizes. But mapping is all about learning from your mistakes. Just scrap this and start again, making sure to keep your eye on the grid sizes.
