I made a news post about this.  Let me know if there's anything you want me to add/change.

Just a heads up to anybody registering: check your spam filters.  The registration email ended up in my junk mail folder.

Good idea, should be good. Will the "official PBCup servers" all be based in America?

We're looking at getting some servers setup in Europe and Western North America.
I did choose the NYC/NJ location so that the European players will benefit from it, rather than going with something more in-land(like Dallas).  Ask Ruddy, he enjoys the 70 ping from the UK. :)

regarding european servers. My clan is mostly European, and i'm guessing most of our matches will be against north american clans, will the server choice be made fair so that we don't end up playing all our matches on North american servers?

1) your clan needs to sign up some more members if you want to participate
2) we will probably set up 1 or 2 european servers soon
3) it will then be up to the teams to decide which servers to play on (read the "rules" on www.pbcup.com)

besides that, the current servers' location has been chosen on the east coast so that the european players dont suffer from too bad lags, ping should be around 150

thats ok then. Just that i've had problems in the past where N.American players refuse to match on euro server.
