Well its not the biggest problem but it is a problem in my eyes.

Why cant we delete old clans which are created?
I mean its hard to make a new clan when this name is already taken but like 2 years ianctive..

The same problem is to make a good looking "tag" for a new clan. I just tried some things out and well 10 of 10 tags are already taken.

why cant we delete such clans?

If they want back they can create a new clan but dont let old clans with tags which other ppl need around.

Its just an idea but we could get an overview of active clans.

Yeah that annoys me a whole lot. Especially like Mosez said if there is only 1 former member why not delete it? It should be like if it has 3 or less former members that should be deleted and the accounts as well...

Deleted the clan. I'm not keen on auto-deleting things, as bugs/errors in the code could potentially do really bad things, but I will delete clans that haven't had any members.

Most of those types of clans were created by people who hadn't played before they created a clan.

Are you talking about deleting a clan with no members if the person asking for it made it? Or if someone randomly wants a tag that is taken but with no members they can just have it?

yeah agreed, I wanted to start [KinG] but a clan tagged KING already exist. I dont know if they still play but it was annoying when I wanted to.

Then again it kept me in uR also. (this was during the recent problems we had within our clan)

What if the one person that made the clan is still on it? Either they made the clan and left it, or they made it and they are still on it. Jits are you saying that the clan would be deleted, but what would happen to the person that made the clan?

I'm guessing that they would just have no record on their account of ever making that clan and tag

Edit: Can someone move this to the feature request section?

also the same can be done for old players that are long gone. auto delete option would be easy in my opinion. 1 year inactive. delete it. a clan with one member for 6 months. delete it.

Old players sometimes come back.

when old players come back they can recreate an account instead of hogging up good names and a whole directory of pointless information.

Uhhhh why don't you just make it so when there is no one in the clan, there is a little button that the admin of the clan can just click "Delete clan"?

No it wouldn't i_am_a_pirate because their old account has been deleted due to inactivity.

That would cause alot of chaos.
