Hi,

A friend of mine started playing today and is ping is always at least 1251 --> This was his lowest ping   :o

Can you guys tell me how can he get is ping lower...It's probably bad net problem, but he really wants to play...and he cant.

1. what's his connection to the Internet
2. is he running anything in the background when he tries to play?
3. If he pings the server ip addresses from the command prompt, what does he get?

They live in Portugal but we are talking about 1251 ping...I don't ping 1251 even if I connect to a new Zealand server.

Say Australian server next time. Who cares about the n.z people.


idias, ask him if his using other programs that would be using the net eg. Torrents.

Also has he gone over his monthly limit?

Thanks for the laugh.

He is just running paintball. But he says sometimes it's fine but than it gets back to his wonderful 1251 ping...like the kiwis  ;D
