[FEATURE REQUEST] Google Website Search Box

As the standard forum search really doesn't lend itself to being user friendly some times, I suggest coding in a Google Web site search box that only searches the dp forums:

http://www.google.com/coop/cse/ CLick on FREE as in b33r

I've looked at SMF's web site and they don't have a mod to include this in with the code.

I'm not going to support google after the crap they pulled with the adwords.  Is the built in search that bad?  I use it like 10 times a day...

Its faster.

And I now prefer to use it other than the built-in forum search.

I know on another forum website it didn't work to well.
People preferred the built in search because they couldn't find what they were looking for.

The problem with some external search is that if you search for something like "autococker", it's going to show every thread, since it's below everybody's name.  Likewise, if you search for a person's name, it will show all of the threads they posted in - every page of every thread they posted in, actually - not just the posts that contained their name.

Is the built in search that bad?

It is much better as an external, but sometimes it needs around 5 minutes for a search result...
