The committee didn't do it, and it's there because it's there. There's a ranking system like this in most forums, especially gaming ones. All that is different here is that the ranks are named after the guns.

ViciouZ is right, most forums have that kind off system, in fact I once saw one that the ranks were made of cookies...highest one chocolat chip...yummie. This one was smarter and made it with the names of the guns that we use in-game.

In fact you are right...people make random posts just to get some more ranking. You see people that have created the account in the last 24h and have already like 10 posts that make no sense.  I was actually one of those persons in my first times in this forums.

I think that the temptation is to judge someone based on how many posts they have, which is blates wrong
