Name spoofing

Looks like "dave" has been spoofing my (and who knows who else's) nick.  Look at the attached screenshot. The IP of "PURE" is some slovakian chello.sk IP. 

To all americans:  yes, slovakia is not germany :)

I hope this kind of behaviour results in a ban.  However, I think that it appears to be possible to do so due to a flaw in the GLS.  And yes, sv_login is active on our matchserver.

a) I'm not 100% sure if it was dave, but he used the nick "dave" later and apparently played for kuc under that name
b) I never said he had that nick in his profile.

@ b00nlander: Hittespitte hatte "boonlander" mal registriert. Im Profil stehts nicht mehr als Name, aber über die Suche findet man ihn noch.

terrorist u know everyone isnt german? so pls do not talk mothermeddling german here =)))))) and dont think it was dave.. and idk but in memi match server it is possible to use any name you want, at least yesterday it was when summit used kuc tag.

I cant see hes spoofing your name...
probably he faked it once on the server
your fault if you don`t know how to enable sv_login
i faked some tag once in a pub im getting banned now? plz dont ban ok?

I doubt that it's a "MeMi Match server" thing, because sv_login is set to 1.  I've checked that :)  So I guess it might be possible to use "any" name everywhere or at least wherever sv_login is not 2.  Bug?

zimt, I dont care about being "name spoofed" on a pub.  But if there's a player with my nick in a match of my team, that raises major concerns. I'm sorry for you if you can't understand that.

yes, I know, its your teammate. Hard loss, right?

It's an exploit, but i thought it was fixed. Guess i was wrong.

It is NOT fixed... Saryk and some other guy even played with MeMi tag on against pdise. I do not have a screenshot of it, but I am sure anyone from pdise will hand in a screen / demo. This sarykov even came to our server with our tag on and was not kicked with sv_login 1. And no, he has not registered a name with memi in front of it...

It's a bug that the committee thought they fixed but probably didn't so just chill out they'll get to it.
