Build 26
« on: February 25, 2009, 10:09:51 PM »
- Feature: Added "selected" flag to menu system, so a widget can be selected by default when a menu is loaded (for things like password prompts).
- Feature: PNG texture support (Thanks: ViciouZ, R1CH)
- Bugfix: Fixed bug where first letter typed was lost in an edit box if the cursor was beyond the length of the string. 11:09 PM 2/3/2009
- Cvar: cl_crosshairscale - Allows you to change the crosshair size independently of the HUD scale. (Thanks: ViciouZ)
- Cvar: cl_passwordpopup - If set (enabled by default), a password prompt will open when attempting to connect to a passworded server. (Thanks: ViciouZ)
- Media: New splash sounds.

Windows:

Update: http://digitalpaint.epicfail.us/files/paintball2_build026_update_pretest1.exe

U forgot: - Media: New water sounds.

I like them :)
Chef-Killer said the 'watr_in.wav' sounds a bit like a pgp shot. Idk, maybe his ears are better than mine. I hear at the beginning of the sound two things are falling into the water. Shouldn't it be only one thing?
Wasn't there a sound when i swim?
And u forgot an 'e' in the filename 'watr_***.wav' :P

Or worse. ;)

I just came across some old recordings I had of splashes.  They're not perfect, but I think they're better than the old sounds.  Besides, you have two legs, right? ;)  Perhaps I'll record more splashes later.

There was never a swim sound.

That's the way the filename has always been.  Probably because of the olden days of 8-character limits in file names (watr_out is 8 characters, so they cut the "e").

I thought u mean the sounds 'splat1' and 'splat2'.

We need a swim sound 8)

*.ogg files can only have 98 characters (+ .ogg) :P But that seems to be enough.

Is there a command to turn vweps off? If your using oldmodels (which are far superior), they just float in the groin area.

Also, when people die, often times after the death animation they remain crouched, and it's hard to tell if they were eliminated, so this can be rather annoying. Again, this may only be for oldmodels, even so I should hope it can be fixed.

Yes i've seen that and no it's not just for old models i use the new models and they appear that way as well.

What game mode were you playing when you saw people die crouched, and what server was it on?
