--Server Questions--

Okay here we go:

Where is a link to some trickjump maps for my server? you know... the ones where theres no killing just jumping and get to the end of the map?

Also.

Is there A way to add or make mods to put into my server, i know modding and i would LOVE to put my own music or mods in.. BTW the music is music that i have personally made.

1. I'm sure someone will chime in about "jump" maps.
2. You can play your own music in the background while you play DP.

Well there's a command where you can take off kills, but some good jump maps that are mostly played: Dopjump, adminjumps, ac1jumps. If there are more i'll post back.

thanks for the maps i just need the names. and also for the music.. what i meant by that was that, when the game starts and you hear those noice clips, can i change that so every1 on the server will hear the music play by a band or sumthing?

No, that's all coded in the game.

If that would work, then the users would have to have the sound files or redownload the maps with appended packages as there would be no way to trigger a sound file download from the server.

I think entity sounds like that are automatically registered in the server's configstrings (a shared array of strings between server and client), so download should initiate without any additional effort past the .ent file.

It's still not a good idea to clutter up the game with extra sounds, especially since you have to use WAVs (I think ViciouZ's ogg vorbis support isn't part of the regular sound system).

You might want to look into one of the quake2 jump mods.  It probably has more of the features you're looking for.
