I believe that you should be banned for life unless you give up your source. Maybe that would be a motivator.

If that happen that would shut this game down by far more people hack in this game then in any other game, And most the people don't give it up they keep it and just wait out the ban and hack like (Snox)

Then we don't need hackers in this game. It would motivate others to stop what they are doing before they get that stiff ban. It would stop that little thought in their head about doing it.

hmmm, maybe an exceptionally long ban, but not lifetime. I mean, what if you want to come back to the game in a year's time? You might hack for the last day of playing, then give up paintball2, then decide a year later that it wasn't all that bad and want to play fairly, but can't because you've been banned for life.

Ban them for a long time.
Then if they come back and play without hacks, let them continue.
If they hack again, permanent ban for life NO EXCEPTIONS OR EXEMPTIONS.

if the people who are big time hackers of this game and are on it 24/7 and get banned for life, they would just fine another ip source or a different computer.

how long does a person have after the initial posting to come forward, or is it indefinite? seems reasonable that they would have to talk fast to take advantage of such a "gift".

along the same lines, after what period can it be posted in this section to show what type of offense they were banned for? always helpful to know what the person is prone to improving quick and dirty to be watchful in the future.

I've got an idea to help out. Say someone gets banned, so their ban is doubled. Why don't we change the rule that if they give all of the required information, the banned will be halved *from how many days they have left banned* (instead of just taking away the doubled time)

That way, it will give banned people the incentive to release info earlier, instead of making us wait.

Ex. Doubled ban = 64 days 14 days go by = 50 days left person gives info to half ban = 25 days left.
It would then be in their best interest to give us the info straight up, instead of letting the thread fade away and having to bring it back up whenever they decide to give info.

On match severs demos are automatically recorded, but in public severs you need to type 'record demonamehere' into the console
