The community can always use more competitive events. This is a simple ladder, designed with little administrative overhead. Here is how it will work.

1. 8 teams submit their willingness to play. Each team may have up to 5 players, and substitutions are allowed. Only those who register ahead of time can participate.

2. The organizers will form the ladder. Organizers are Fl1p, m7 and Justinph5.

3. Each team meets up with their opponent on their own time table. They then report the score back in this thread.

4. ALL PLAYERS must submit their demos following the match to this thread. This way everyone can enjoy the action and learn from others. We can also screen for cheating that way. If you don't like this provision, don't play.

5. There is only ONE map total for the entire ladder. Each match consists of two teams playing on that one map for ONE game. The map for the first round is Shazam22

6. There are no in-game referees. It is in the interest of both teams not to have disputes. Any disputes that cannot be worked out by the two teams will go to the organizers who will look at demos and then rule in favor of one team or another, disqualify one team or the other or disqualify both teams.

7. Prizes--there are none. Play because you like the game.

8. If teams want to have their friends spec them just to watch that is fine. But no talking if you are an observer.

Feel free to post feedback or sign up your team below. Once we get 8 teams we will get this rolling.

If it works well we choose a new map and start again.

No. They an be from any clan or not in a clan at all.

I don't think it is the best option for a 3v3 ladder

It makes things quick. It also helps noobs learn by analyzing different styles on the same map when watching demos.

Actually, thinking about your question some more, is the problem that there is one map or that it is airtime? Airtime might be negotiable, the one map concept is not.

The problem is airtime being the only map. It takes out any eR33t server's to play on. If you want a map that noobs can analyze or something, how bout Propaint1 ? Shazam22 ? pbcup_sassault ? Most 1flag maps that aren't all about jumps could work. I just don't find airtime a very good map for a tournament.

I chose airtime just due to it being a frequent tie map. I would like noobs to be familiar with tactics used on such maps.

Shaz 22 was my next choice.

Are you saying ereet doesn't have airtime 1? That is odd.

If that is the case shaz 22 is fine.

Are you able to sign up a team of 4? Incase a member of your team has lag issues or other plans and can't play.

first, I think this is the way to go. Maybe even teams of 5. But the games are 3v3, so you can have subs and matches don't have to be concelled since one player isn't on that day.

And as for airtime, it probably isn't the best choice of map to play, but I can't really think of any ONE map that covers many types of strategic play.

Thanks guys, edited to include teams up to 5 members, with subs.

I am still thinking 22 instead of airtime as apparently airtime is not on ereet at the moment. For now I edited to indicate the map is being decided.

Any other feedback on the map is welcome.

Thanks, and just to clarify, you don't have to indicate who are subs. You can sub even during the match.

Your internal pecking order is up to you.

That is perfectly fine, but until you know for sure I am reserving a space for one. If you get the second lined up for sure then post again to reserve that spot.

Status Quo should be up for it. I'll get back to you if things change. Since we only have 5 members at the moment it should be Circa Kazee SuMMiT MyeRs Legacy. It's not for sure yet, have to make sure they are up for it. I'll comfirm later, please reserve a spot for us though.

Yeah my question was about airtime. If you want newbies to know the map I'd go with something between shazam22 and propaint1. They know it and the so called "pr0s" play them quite a lot too.
