Good 8-player maps
« on: March 11, 2009, 05:46:58 PM »
What are some good 8-player maps that would also go well if there were only  4 people playing? I'm not interested in the popular maps that everyone on pub knows about either.

No. Just playing with the idea of running a server fit for 8-players. I'm not sure how reliable my server's connection is though, which is why I have not done it in the past. However, we're now redundant via 7 backbone providers and we upgraded our capacity, so the possibly has become open (or at least more so).

You guys heard that he wants maps as well as for 2v2 and for 4v4. So how is summer fitting to that profile? I don't know about that :D:D:D.

Anywhoo. Add some docks2, sandtrap and some DM maps maybe for some TDM actiun. Like dome, conquest, pb2dm1.

He sais he's not interested of pub maps, still you suggest prolandr etc... ::) But put some DM maps, they're not played much. Like blaa said: dome, pb2dm1 etc...

Of course - because thats not a pub map...

I'd say just download a load of random maps from the otb ftp server and see which ones you like. I've found loads of great ones doing that.

I already have the map DB and probably the second largest map collection (after OTB's). However, going through the list tends to be a pain. Plus, just looking at a map won't tell me if it's fun to play.

Lmao. People only are suggesting pub maps, hehe. Go trough your maps, you might find great ones. i_am_a_pirate and me too have found great ones from otb's site.
