Team indicators

Hi all! I need help from you. In my new map, which i'm going to release soon, i need to put team indicators. I want them to be nice looking and that they could be smartly placed. If you have any ideas please help. I'm going to release the map soon, after detailing and placing entities. Here is some screenshots:

so you mean like a map? or like a radar? OR do you mean like colors like the barrels and etc

Was badly written, was in hurry... I need team indicators for my map, like arrows (but not arrows cause they don't fit). Barrels aren't good because if you are in middle of 2 blue barrels and need to go red you need to guess the way...

I could, but one problem.. I SUCK at making textures. And i would not like to place arrows, i don't like them much. But i think i will put some barrels to be angled towards the base. Would that be nice idea?

you still can use team colored flag.. maybe make a Flag Pole, Billboard, Sign, Theres alot of things you can do with it just take time off the map and think about what would be nice..I assure you in 1 hour you should have tons of ideas

It's hard cause it should fit to wildlife areas where like no man has ever touched. It would be stupid if there is giant arrow in the end of a pole... But i'm thinking solutions. IMO those angled barrels would work if people understand their meaning ::)

Oh goddammit!! I forgot that i suggested barrels myself... So long was my theme going well ::)

THere are several rural areas in various parts of the world that use concrete or stone road markers, similar to this:



That might be used in your map.

Yes, good thinking. Not many of those here in Finland. It could be concrete pillar with color on the sides.

Heh... Maybe not in an hour... Got in to mapping and did a lot of stuff. Stopping now, maybe making more staff at evening. I'm pretty sure that i'm going to put my map to the forums at the next weekend. BUT this is not sure. Depends how much time i can put in to it...

That's a great start.

Now you know that if you see blue on the marker, that's the direction to travel to the blue base.

The spike on the top looks a little small - I think it would look better if it were flush with the top of the box.  It would have lower r_speeds, too.

Jee Jee if you make the Grass texture 5.00 and 5.00 instead of 10.00 10.00 it will look alot better
