Pic of that gap is helpful, pretty much of them there. And what do you mean by that the grass is not green?

He's missing the texture, so he's getting the grey boxes.

download the CTP texture pack. Look under TEXTURES http://dplogin.com/forums/index.php?topic=15629.0

Looking over your map again, why is everything detailed in bsp? I know it'll make the compile faster but won't it make the r_speeds alot more then they have to be?

Ask Spook. Spook compiles for me and he detailed them.

I just detailed all the walls, haven't gotten around to un-detailing the mid walls to reduce r_speeds, but when I have the time I will.

Even if you undetail the mid walls, having both bases loaded into memory at the same time will cause intense r_speeds and probably vising issues.  Try to only detail the walls that seem most irrelevant to VIS.  And make sure all the barrels and planks and junk are all detailed.  That should keep compiling time low while also keeping r_speeds down.

Wow, been some time since the last post in this thread...
Anyways, i've started remaking this map from scratch and hopefully i can keep the same concepts as in the original one, but make it better! I have made the core almost ready (everything made today, wohoo). Little details and addons, and also entities are still missing. Biggest problem what i encounter is that how i could keep the "walk on" cliffs without making the VIS super fail again. :/ Well just wanted to let you know, also show some screenshots so you can judge it ;9

I'm ready to release b5 so here it is. Thou i'm not sure should i call it b5 or keep it as a whole different map...

The map changed from the screenshots above, but i didn't feel like taking new screenshots. Currently it supports CTF and DM. DM is fun, i think. There is no extra ammo, weapons etc. so i need to place them for the next beta.

I would say that is one of the best terrained maps I've ever seen. It flows so nicely. There are some places that need to be clipped, mainly the ends of the bridges.

Also, change the base entity so you can't cap from 50 feet in the air, make it sit player height so in matches you don't have to be worried about a guy capping on you from way above the actual flag placement.
