Rofl- jits, there's another huge bug. It seems to mix up the 2nd and 3rd number in the IP address, making it impossible connect.

Edit for clairification:

The server browser shows that there's a server running at 66.11.93.69. It can't connect to that. When I find that server in the in-game server browser, it sucessfully connects to 66.93.11.69.

Does this just do the internet servers or will it do intranet or LAN servers as well? (Since I am behind a proxy on a vlan'ed network, I need to know these sorta things lol . . . jk)

EDIT -

From the source I was able to figure out where the serverlist update source was, but when I changed it to my locally hosted serverlist file (for the intranet paintball2 clients where I am) running on my own webserver, http://(hostname here).dorms.(institution).edu/serverlist.php,
it keeps telling me that it cannot resolve the host address. I have also tried my IP address for the network here and that will not work either.

The serverbrowser works good

But, where i must copy the *.exe file, that the serverbrowser said not this error: "Paintball2 installation directory not found." ?
It comes, if i start the programm.

What version of paintball2 do you have installed? The installer should set the location of the paintball2 directory in the registry, so it doesn't matter where the serverbrowser is located.

I could have sworn it was in the build 14 installer. The key is in HKCU\Software\Digital Paint\Paintball2\INSTDIR or INSTALLDIR -- can't remember specifically off the top of my head.

I've set INSTALLDIR, but INSTDIR works also.

I think too, it was in the build 14 installer, but my windows is defect. It needs a reinstall

It re-downloads the serverlist whenever you start it up right now, so if you modify the list before starting it, it'll get wiped. You could add it after it's loaded and hit refresh, though. I'll probably add some mechanism for adding servers to the list later on.

well, i put up my server, then open the program, then hit refresh, and my server doesn't show up.

http://dpball.com/serverlist.php is what it uses for its list. I see your IP on there, so it must be a firewall or router causing the issue.

Edit: Actually, it shows up on the list for me. Looks like it's working just fine. Try using "Update" instead of "Refresh."

i can't see it on my own program though. All the other servers are fine and show up, and you say mine shows on others, so any idea why i cant see it on my list?

Not sure. Can you connect to it using your external IP? (http://www.ipchicken.com to see your ip.)
