You can edit your posts, so you won't make posts with 1 minute caps and which have 1 sentence.

940 portalclusters
3017 numportals

I don't remember what portalclusters were (prolly useless info), but 3017 numportals isn't much... So you probably do not have a skybox, OR, you have leaks.. Go to file-find .lin file. It should be there.. somewhere. And seal your leaks.

OR, did you put a huge box all around your map? if yes, then have fun putting a decent sky around your map..

OR, you seriously have a poor computer :D. I hope its the last one, because then all you got to do is to find urself a nice gentleman who would compile the map for you.

You know how to fix leaks? And if the map is big and complex, and your computer a little poor, it just cant handle that.

Most likely there's nothing wrong seeing as  an error would have showed up in the compiler. The problem is probably his computer.

Does that mean, that he has no hint or detailed brushes in his map?

yes, i have no detail, or hint brushes, at all...
is that a bad thing? or is that good?
because i've made other maps with none at all and they load and work fine.

Please, edit your posts. It's hard to read when you have 4 posts in a row. Bit it's bad to not have any hint brushes or any detailed brushes. If you have any barrels, crates etc. that don't block visibility, select them all, opec surface properties by clicking S, check detail box, click set content and then add content (or other way around, im not sure, i just click them like 20 times...) And there's some tutorials about VISing. There is Dag's tut on forum and also on RUST. I dont have time to put links.

Or you can just select them and click the "+Det" button.

Put i think i saw, that you had written that "+Det" has some problems. It was something like they lose their default flags, or something. I'm not sure, though...
