Junk in the Trunk
« on: July 10, 2009, 03:57:16 PM »
So I sold my Chrysler Concorde, and I had to get all of the junk out of the trunk.  I decided to do an inventory for kicks.  I'm curious of anybody can compare.  I'm talking about stuff that's been in your trunk for like a year, not stuff you just put in for a move or something.  Even with all this stuff, I still had room for groceries and other typical trunk-type items.

Here is the list:

5 bottles of water
Hiking boots
wank light (flashlight you shake to recharge)
6 VHS Tapes: 3 stooges, AFV, highschool graduation, "The Od", Blank?
2 sports bottles
Radier Pro RC car.
Charger for RC car.
Spare parts for RC car.
Hiking poles
Pair of old shoes.
TMNT glider.
Set of camping pans + cup
Trash bag.
2 packs of dried chili and beans backpacking food.
Aerobie Skylighter (illuminated frisbee)
Controller for RC car.
Pogo stick.
Remains of a Brass Eagle Talon (paintball gun)
Hammer.
Roll of paper towels.
Hacky sack.
T-shirt
Aerobie orbiter boomerang
Tent (3-man, I think)
Tripod.
Air Hogs RC Havok Heli laser battle set.
Kever (giant foam frisbee thing)
Box of cassette tapes from a conference.
Extra tail light bulb.
Scrapbook from piano lessons & contests.
Aqua sock type shoes.
Sleeping bag.
GPS box.
Tool belt.
Pizza pan.
40-piece Roadside emergency kit - jumper cables, tow rope, first aid kit, flash light, cones, tire repair, reflective blankets, gloves, etc.
Pancho
Sleeping pad.
Large backpacking backpack.
Compass
Pair of pants
Underpants
Pair of socks.
bottle of antifreeze
Sketchbook/journal
USB Keyboard
Spare battery for RC car
Paintball cleats.
paintball pod
Fly wheels toy.
Honey roasted peanuts (that expired in 2005).
50-100 feet of nylon rope.
Timex watch box + manual.
book of matches
Christmas bow
End cap + strap from an umbrella
2 clothes pins
Birthday card.
Christmas card.
Golf Stroke counter
Bank statement from May 2006.
Change

Spare tire

I had to clear out a car to be sold recently, and the glovebox was full of packs of replacement bulbs for the headlights, none of which actually worked with that car.
