Tree Model...
« on: August 23, 2009, 05:41:57 AM »
I have some trees photos I took and was wondering if anyone could make a model of it for the game. There is a photo of the tree and the leaves.

You can't just make a tree model out of photos. You can make a texture, but that's hard to do with the colourful background. So you're basically asking people to just make a tree model.

Yes, as if there's no better pic than a tree XD

Anyways, try modelling.  It takes some practice but soon you will get it.

Pot XD

Well, I've done a little bit of Quake II modeling and it's hard to perfect, but easy to get used too.  At least try it once.

Plant = Plant
Tree = Tree
Plantx = Tree 0
The above one does not work.  A plant is a plant, and won't look like a tree if you put a whole bunch together.  And anyways, it would create a lot of lag having many trees with a whole bunch of plants on them.  It'd be easier making a model.

(x being the amount of plants to look like a tree)

I wanted to (models and maps), but everyone mostly plays Digital Paint: Paintball 2.0 now.
