confused....

uhm....well i have everything set up right (i think) and well i have the black screen and when it says sending heartbeat to serverlist.... it doesnt say sucess, is it supposed to be like that?

Are you using the latest version?  Does it say anything at all?  Copy and paste what's on the screen (right click on the top of the window and go to edit->mark, then select the text and press the enter key to copy).

ok... i actually had someone come, but why cant some of my friends see the server when i ask them to? and also the IP wont work ( as in going into console and typeing connect blah blah)
