Are you referring to the kicking of RAOUL DUKE? its just a speed cheat protection, or if youre lagging really bad it will kick you. Its when your comp time doesnt meet up with server time or something. Obviously, he wasnt speed cheating.

Four, actually.  I wonder if there was some kind of hiccup on the server that caused that.  I think packet loss is the cause of the kicks.  Packets get dropped and as such, the total time doesn't add up, making it appear the same as when a client uses an application to "fastforward" their computer clock -- the time doesn't match up to the server time.  I'm not sure if there's a good way to distinguish between the two.

What is the main cause of packet loss client side? Beside ISP. I doubt all 4 ISP(s) were suffering from lag at once. ???


**edit If server was not fine why those 4 and not others?

Go to start, run, and type "tracert 216.127.68.86"  That's all the jumps your packets have to go through to get to the ev1 server.  Packets can be dropped at any point along that path.  Perhaps those four players had something in common.
