game crashes when i press the windows key

i was  playing dp and i pushed the key between alt and ctrl (on the left side) and the computer froze and the game crashed i had to re-boot the computer ???

Does this happen every time you hit the windows key?  Has anybody else had this issue?  What version of windows are you running?  What video card do you have?  Were you running the game full screen or windowed?  What resolution is the game running at, and what resolution does your desktop run at?

For the second don't know, right click your desktop and hit properties.  Then hit the settings tab up the top, and it will have your resolution in there.
