I really don't understand why you should replace us with somebody else, just because they are american and we are not?

But, on another note, if this cup isnt this saturday evening, but on some other saturday evening then most likely I cant participate, have to talk things over with my teammates tho, maybe they can. Dunno about sundays.... Maybe you should fix a date and stick to it, as people seem to have too many opinions, and thats bad in this context!

   Ok, well we'd like to get this tournament started soon and if any clans can not make it just message me on irc my name is shk. This tournament will officially be held on Sunday, January 17th at 4:30 pm EST. All captains for each clan (1 person from each team) will join #3v3Tourney on irc. The info for the matches will be given to each captain. The site will be posted in the #3v3Tourney channel when it is up. Have your team ready and set by 4:30-4:45 pm EST.

   And about the Extra teams thing. The extra 2 teams are basically subbing a team that can't make it or only has 1 or 2 players.

   And one more thing, after each match one person from the winning team (or losing team) take a screenshot of the final score so there are not arguments etc. Thats unless we get some refs to watch each game. Thanks

After reviewing the signed up teams, [q] signed up before [3iob] and because of that they will be put back in the top 8. If [q] does not have 3 players by the time the tournament starts [3iob] will take thier place. Or any other clan that is not ready by the set time.

and also, I think that deciding the brackets so early is a bit bad for two reasons.

You know that you are gonna play some clan for a week, wheres the anxiety in that?
+ what if one of those clans dont make it eventually... so the team who wants to take their place is like "uuuu i dont want to play them, they are ugly" etc etc. Just post the brackets as late as possible

The tourney is in 3-4 days not to far away, and shk can edit the brackets easily with which ever clans pulls out with the waiting clan to replace them. If the waiting clans doesnt like who they are up against they can ff and quit the tourney.

Because there was already 8 teams signed up by the time 3iob said they could participate. So you're an extra if a team can't make it.

Just put it this weekend, it's a little small tourny, with common maps, you don't need like 2 weeks to prepare. Sunday morning makes it easy for euros and americans to participate. Saturday 'earlier' would be good too for euro's and americans.

Chances are that a third of the teams won't show up.. or won't have enough players at the start time. I'm sure you'll pick up one of their slots.

This is the may reason why I always leave making the brackets until 5mins before play starts. Tell teams to be there 30mins early to check-in, tell teams that didn't make the signup cutoff that they can show up then and maybe get a slot from a dropout team.

The teams that don't have enough players at tournament start time will probably end up delaying things as long as they can hoping their last member comes online.

By 'MVP of the tournament' you mean the clan running the tournament just picked somebody from their team cause they won? Oh alright. Makes sense then.
