Be sure, u have the s_nojump setting at 0. Than u should hear the old fall/jump sound.

Rocky: What sounds are you having difficulty hearing?  You can only hear footsteps and gunshots?  If you have old sounds, it shouldn't download the new ones over them.  There are, however, new footstep sounds per-surface, so there are metal, wood, grass, etc. footstep sounds.  Is that what you're complaining about?  That should make it easier to identify where people are, not harder.

ye did what terrorist said and it helped. Now i think i finally have almost everything the way i want. and jitspoe the problem ( at least for me ) is that i can only hear the sound of metal or wood or etc when im moving, i cant tell where other people are the sounds are too quiet or something and its kinda distracting to hear the footspeps sounds all the time when u move it takes away other sounds

Try to change the "s_resamplevolume" setting. Maybe that helps a little bit.

jitspoe, there has been a lot of complaints and bugs/errors since everyone updated to build 29.. Whats happened? Have you made any durastic changes to the source or something? Because the forums never got this many errors/complaints.

Perhaps you need to get build 30 out ASAP with fixes to these errors, to keep these people playing the game.

Or just allow players to fall back to a lower Build, definenitly not Builds 28 and 27.

What was so bad about 27? I thought that was the most decent build since 21..

lol, thats a little bit funny. First nobody votes for bugfixes in the "what is most important..."-thread and now everybody is crying if jitspoe doesn't fix them.

+1

people here are only complaining, without doing anything themselves

I'd say either accept the fact that this game ain't perfect or contribute in developing this game
