I think you should type your posts up in some kind of word processor that has spell check and grammar check before posting them here.
R_speeds don't have a direct correlation to the playability of maps on modems. They correlate to how well the map will play on crappy computers. R_speeds are just the polygon counts. What affects modem play is the amount of action visible at a given time, or more specifically, the number of changing entities and events sent to a client. Maps with high-end weapons that are entirely open with nothing to block the view of any entities *cough*blitz*cough* play very poorly on modems. Maps with various paths to break up the action work much better.
I agree that there should be more modem friendly maps. Not only for the sake of being modem friendly, but because they often offer a much broader range of strategy. It's not just a big, chaotic spray fest.
