New Map: Nolandr by kaese

This is a new map made by kaese.

It's an outdoor map with one mid and two bases, maybe for 4 or 6 player.

There are 2 flags for each team, gamemode is CTF.

This map really reminds of me shazam33. The bridge, low routes, but this is much much better than shazam33. This is actually a really good looking map, and I love that tree. <3

my feedback after a quick check:

* hard to find co2, maybe add some?
* on the mid low in the water there's a "special gun" to be picked up, but it's just a VM-68. I'd replace it with a more valuable weapon in order to make it useful

Furthermore I think the map looks quite OK, providing a good gameplay. I think this map might develop into a regular played map :)

Very nice map, has the same feeling as all shazams but that's never a bad thing.

Hey,
not bad map imo. Maybe I'd use some different textures somewhere - it looks a bit weird at some places. The gameplay could be good I think. I've just mentioned some things ->

I'm missing some jumps here. I've drawn them in screenshots. The "X spot" is too high - you should cut the higher part of it.
It's also weird that you can walk and shoot through that tree in base. You could put there some invisible brush like it's done in oth.
You could also make the sky higher - I'm hitting it when I'm making doublejump onto 2nd flag from higher part of that camping spot.

This map isn't made by Chef-Killer, it's made by kaese. Why don't you think that this is a good map?

Why are you judging the mapper instead of the map itself?

Furthermore, please let the mapper know what exactly disappointed you. It's a first beta, so he might be able to use your critics in order to change something

What ? It's made by kaese. Anyway, the map is good, it looks similar to the shazam series. It can become a very good map.

cause kaese is german, i will write my opionion in german..

- Licht : Du solltest das Licht nochmal stark überarbeiten, so wie es jetzt ist, sieht es nie gut aus. Die Map besteht fast ausschließlich aus Schatten und die Sonnen tritt nur selten hervor, daher Sonneneinstrahlung ändern

- Flags : Die Flags sind zuarg aneinander und geben zuviele Punkte, mein Vorschlag: entweder 1 Flag weg, oder sie weiter auseinander stellen und evtl beiden nur 4 Ptk geben oder einer nur 3 und die andere 4

- Name : Der Name ist grottig :) Such dir lieber was anderes aus, nicht sowas ähnliche wie prolandr und ich find auch die Map hat 0 mit Shazam zutun :)


Ansonsten ist die Map recht gut und bestimmt auch gut spielbar

Good job with the next beta. I'm just missing here some better barrels. There are just chrome. I'd put some better ones at some places. No need to put the brass ones, but the black ones would be good.

I have change some Jump and put new think in.

Is this a beta version or the final one? It's good at the moment, but I don't think that the map is ready for the final release.

I posted more german feedback about this map (flag positions) in our forum a few days ago. So I hope that you will work on this map again before releasing the final version yet.

After several tries, it seems to be the final release.
I've tried to turn over all your Idea's.

Main Entrance:
-you have three possible routes
-u can get the second flag over it, just use the boxes.
 


Bd-Way:
-there are speed-jumps into the base
-outta base u can choice between high and main



Base:
-All roads lead to Base =) .... Speed-Jumps to 1./ 2. Flag
-the flag (low) brings 3 Points and the flag (high) brings 2 Points



1. to 2.Flag:
-two routes, use the long one (camp-window, high out) or the short one (bulky objects, fast grab)



Mid, low/ high:
-two way to change between low and high
-the way high will be a little bit faster
-there are possible line's/ jumps low
-u can camp in sniper
