Eyjafjallajokull Volcano

Hehe, nobody has started a topic about the volcano that's causing total devestation for Europe's airlines...

The UK, in particular has been issued several warnings telling residents to remain indoors throughout the volcanic period, this is because the Ash Cloud is dropping bits of ash all around Europe. The Icelandic/Norweigan MetOffice has advised anyone with lungs/breathing difficulties to stay indoors unless it's serious.

In the UK alone, 600,000 people are remained stranded from flying on planes. RyanAir, Heathrow and Birmingham all cancelling flights until tomorrow at 1am. (The situation will be monitored, and if the airspace is better planes will then fly again)

I've checked the news on TV and it seems that there's a "Northwest wind" dragging all the ash clouds over Scandinavia and the UK, so can people from other parts of Europe share the situation your country is currently in? It's caused devestating affects for England, but it's so cool to see something happen to England for once ahah

its just another eruption.  i'll make a thread if yellowstone erupts, but thats about it.

but a bit more seriously... things happen.  Something erupts, we just have to live around it.  Most of us would know that once a volcano goes up, air traffic will stop, but its nature, so it'll just happen.  Like a hurricane as such.  Can't do much about it, just have to work your way around it.

I'm not joking about this situation. To others, volcanoes and other natural events happen everyday or occur frequently. It never normallly happens in the UK. I've never ever actually seen/lived to experience a volcano, even though it is in Iceland, but why would you think I'm joking?

Like I've said, I've never experienced a volcano and this is very new and interesting for me, knew it was a bad idea sharing thoughts with the DP community.
