I've kinda dumped this feature because it doesn't get update very often -- more like POTY.  Should I put it back in?  I have a link to the old POTD's in the archive.

Just stick a pic in the news if it's new, instead of having a pot"d".
I got tired of staring at that motion blur thing.

Yeah.  I might see if I can incorporate the screenshot code into the news so that I can throw thumbnails into the news posts that you can click on and enlarge dynamically.  Unfortunately this completely breaks support with old browsers.  Oh well.
