im trying to start a server and when I enter "./paintball2 +set dedicated 1 +set public 1 +exec myserver.cfg +map midnight2"  it says  "No such file or directory"

Code: [Select]
pball@myserver:~$ ls
ace     locs        README_Paintball2_alpha029.txt  snd_oss.so
baseq2  paintball2  ref_pbgl.so                     snd_sdl.so
docs    pball       snd_alsa.so

pball@myserver:~$ ./paintball2 +set dedicated 1 +set public 1 +exec myserver.cfg +map midnight2

bash: ./paintball2: No such file or directory

You must enter the full location of the paintball2.exe, not just the file name.

By default, the location is "C/Program files/paintball 2/paintball2.exe"

Write that and then slap on the shortcut suffixes you stated above in order to run it.

Lester, Linux isn't Windows.

@gwall:
you have permissions?

Put the files in a folder. Try it then.
