I think he clicked the wrong link on the "files" page, FileFront is a mirror that requires an account to download the game (free account), you can download it without making any accounts from here:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/paintball2/paintball2_build016_full.exe?download
or the "...full.exe" here:
http://dpball.com/files/clients/
