lmao just go make a site at www.dajoob.com // unlimited space.
Not exactly.

And bug, I also have a rather large amount of jump maps (me and postmortem used to jump together). I can get you a list if you'd like.

Site looks nice btw.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked the site. I would really appreciate that list, perhaps you could post\pm\email it to me? By the way, Dajoob seems REALLY nice, and I'll be using it from now on for file storage (as long as it has about 400 meg for the maps, textures, sounds, maplists, screenshots, tours, map info, etc :))

No.

Geesh man, you play an open source game and don't use Firefox? That's heresy!

Ah yes, glad you enjoyed that. Unknown to many, I have a lot of hidden easter eggs in the search system 8). For example, try searching these:

auth:idiot
auth:jitler (it just translates to Jitspoe :))
lax:the worst map ever

Those are just a few, you gotta figure the rest out yourself ;)

Worst map ever should come up with blitz.bsp, not castle1.

Check the main page for my snappy retort!  ;)

By the way, there isn't an uneuphamized word in existence to describe my hate of castle1. I've considered, and am still considering, flagging\deleting it for good  >:(

Why do you hate it?  It's one of the few good maps.  Only problems I have with it are too many high-power weapons and the flags are worth too many points, making it end too quickly.

Edit: Some things to delete (incomplete maps):
bestmapever.bsp
bestmapever2.bsp
arcticfield.bsp

What you could probably do is search for maps that don't contain "message" -- any untitled map is bound to be incomplete.  Also, if possible, maps with only one info_player_deathmatch should be thrown out, too.

Thanks for the info! The 'bestmapever's have been polished (AKA, recategorize, flag, delete :)), but I thought arcticfield was kinda cute, so I'm keeping it :P

By the way, the most truthful and concise reason why I hate castle1 would probably be, "Because I stink at it!" But, for my purposes, I don't like it because it's too large for any group under 24 players, difficult to learn the routes around, and just plain not fun! :|
