Using 3d models for maps

I have been using 3D Max for about a year now and thought it would be nice to be able to being some of my work that I have done into a map. I have a few buildings that are 3d, meaning you can walk inside of them as if walking into a real building. Is this possible?

You can use the models in the map, however, there is currently no collision detection for them. That effectively makes models useless for things like buildings and structures.
