Cannot Start Paintball 2

Whenever I start up Paintball 2 it just sits there with a black screen forever. I used to get the OpenGL errors up until I updated my drivers, but now I have this issue. I've done some searching throughout the forums but nothing has helped resolve my problem.

Any ideas on what could help clear this up?

I'm using Windows XP SP3, by the way.

Sorry for the lengthy reply time. It's NVIDIA GeForce4 MX Integrated GPU.

For this graphic card try install older drivers. Here: http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/GRAPHICS-BOARD/NVIDIA/nVidia-Detonator-5682-WHQL.shtml

1. Unistall all nVidia graphics drivers.
2. Clean your PC with "driver sweeper" program (select nVidia - Display filter)
3. Reboot your PC
4. Don't Instal any drivers from windows popups after system reboot
5. Install drivers from link
6. Reboot PC
7. Run DP2 ;)

I followed the directions above, but unfortunately it has not worked. I'm still getting the same error.

Hm strange, becouse your graphic card and system it's ok for DP2.. I have no idea :/

Reinstall windows or just try Linux. Linux is better. Also my friend's got this graphic card. It was working but he reinstalled windows and now he gets error... I tried to help him but...

Are you able to run any other OpenGL games, such as Quake 3?

Who said he want to play games only? You can run Paintball on linux and maybe that's enough.

Yeah, but what can you run with a descent quality apart from Paintball ?
Linux aren't games OS, could be but editors don't want it right now, I agree that's a shame, but that's it (that's the main reason why I don't wanna install Linux on my computer)
