1. OK, i don't know if someone understand what i mean, but i'll try it

If i'm in the red team and type in "join r" mid in the round, it says "You will remain on the *Red team next round.". If i type it in between two rounds, it says "You're already on this team!". Why comes the "You're already on this team!" message not mid in the round?
If i think right, the "You will remain on the *Red team next round." message should only come if i type in "join x" (x=any other team) and after that "join r" in the same round (so, only if it can't change the team immediately and another teamchange was between it).
And if i type in "join auto" and it chooses my actual team, it says "You will remain on your current team". Can you explain, when it should say which message?


2. The "Cannot change teams for ... more seconds" countdown will be stopped, if a new round begins or i respawn in a team.


3. The . or ! at the end of the "Cannot change teams for ... more seconds" message is missing


4. Sometimes my console will be flooded with the messages "Cannot change teams for ... more seconds" and "You have been auto-switched to the Blue team." alternating for 10 seconds.

If you can switch teams immediately, and you try to switch to the team you're on, it will tell you you're already on that team.

If you can't currently switch teams because you're playing, it will tell you what you'll switch to on the next round (you'll switch to the blue team next round, or you will remain on the red team).

The cannot change teams thing is to prevent people from flooding team changes.  I guess that needs to be disabled for autobalance?

Hard to say. I think it could be enabled, but the message flooding isn't very good. It happens, if i switch the team three times and it auto-switches me back (the first time at the end of the round, the other two times immediately).

whatever its ok now, Terrorist unbanned me, and it doesnt kick me anymore, after reinstalling.

Two more things:

1. id (name over the player) often doesn't work if i see the player from the side or back.

2. Sometimes a player is invisible for a second, while i chasecam him (not in the in-eye mode).

I think this happens when you are near a wall so the cam must move "inside" the obejct

And also i found that now the soccer at least for me seems hardly playable. With hte changes of physic the ball bounces really high and even with one shot it can go 3-4 times over whole map (otb_soccer2_cup). Also sometimes there happen that when the ball hits angles wall it bounces like there was no angle. Well the ball probably now bounces more like real but i dont like "the reality" in the soccer. I really liked the soccer possibility in PB but now i dont like that style. I dont know if it is just my feeling so pls post what you think .

Pretest is a step before a final build, but all final builds are from the alpha version from paintball 2.

The auto team switch is a good improvement, but it really needs a change. - I've noticed on pub that the players don't even realize that they're in the other team.
It would be good if the "you were switched to team x" sign would pop up in the middle of the screen so it's transparent and everybody can notice it.

Yes, I've noticed the same. Maybe something like a cprint message instead a console message would help.

Odd.  I tried an install of b30 with the b31 patch and didn't have any issues.  Did you just reinstall the patch or did you do a full install?

Well, it looks like most of the feedback is for server side things, so I'm going to go ahead and work on a release and then work on a server patch next year.
