Author Topic: Forums Randomly Not Accessable? (Read 5204 times)

Several times a day, I find that the forums are not available, ie..no page displayed. But, I can always get the http://dpball.com web site up.

Anyone else having thsi issue? This has been happening to be during normal daylight ( texas) hours for over a month now.

For me when the forums go down, everything on dpball.com goes down. I think Delirious is out of town right now, so I can't ask him why this is happening.

For me, just the forums.

They went down again around 9:30 PM ish CST last night.

Every time the forusm go down, that I detect from home or work, I have been verifying that dpball.com is accessable.

For me the entire dpball.com site goes down. It happens a LOT (1-5 times every hour) for me, and it gets pretty annoying. I hope we can get some clarification on what's causing this.

The forums as well as the whole dpball.com page are down for me from time to time...

You can get free hosting just about anywhere (Dajoob, hint hint), and I'm sure the members with hosting (Like Smokey of arena-zone.com and such) would be glad to host it. There's not really anything forcing you to use your current hosting.

My forums are really slow somedays too.
everything else loads fast except the forumms.

I see what's going on now. The forums aren't actually down, they're just loading really slowly. The dpball.com index is really small and loads quickly. If you go to something like dpball.com/webstats, it takes a while to load. The forums will load eventually if you wait long enough. Sometimes I can't access dpball.com at all, though. I can't even get a ping response.

Also, make sure the dpball.com site isn't just cached (shift+reload).

I have been getting operation timeouts around 330 cst all last week, when trying to connect to the forums. All other links work fine.

[13:37:32] <Delirious> regardless of how or when this problem is resolved it will be before June, as I am canceling services with Cox in June for sure
