Empty servers. No players?

What happened to all the people that used to play? All i see is like 10 or 15 completely empty servers every time im on. Like what happened? Did everyone quit or something??

It depends on the time of day, the other people's time zones, and what day it is. This is probably because everyone is working, at school, is in bed, etc. It maybe a school vacation or 3:00 PM or something where you live. But in other countries/states, it may not.

The game's activity usually picks up during the summer, since that's when the kids aren't in school.

If all you're seeing is 10-15 servers, maybe you have a firewall or something blocking ports used by most servers?  I think 40-50 servers are running right now.

I see all of the servers, theres a lot of them, but when i scroll down on the list, about one half to two thirds of the servers have no people in them.

It's pretty normal to only have players on ~1/4-1/3 of the servers.
