I think that you should change yellow team to other - you have much yellow on map. Maybe red?
And im not sure if placing cap on 1st flag is good idea, it's hard to reach.
Anyway good map.

i just tested gameplay and the map doesnt seem to be well playable but i have few ideas i how fix that so maybe b2 will be better ;)

idk about the colors i wanted to make something different then the common colors red + blue ;). And about that cap...is it difficult? I mean, you can get there without any double jump or anything like that how that can be difficult :D

well on sald idk what more fix there i think there are all fixes that you said ;)
on bruno ...well i am working on it i have already made more newbie ways etc but i have to fix the wood + add walls next to sky wich will take me long time and i will need more time for it but i didnt abandon this map ;), but still i think bruno is unplayable maybe fixing caps woudl help but i am not sure about it

Good work, looks very nice and most of the stuff is aligned well :)

I'm not sure what I should think about the flag placements.
Frist flag: I think it's ok there, but there's not much light around it, so it's hard to see the flag and other players in this corner.
Second flag: Almost the opposite. It's better visible, but I don't really like that the second flag is in the mid area of the map.
Maybe it's just me who see the flags a little bit unfavorable placed. I don't know :)

You can delete "type" "medium" from the worldspawn.

Change the "count" value of the second flags from "count" "30" to "count" "1.2", that this flags don't be 150 point flags :P

The other entities looks very good. Nice to see the rotated spawns.

The highest r_speeds are around 3.500 wpoly near the flag. It's not thaat baad. Maybe you could think about deleting the water that isn't really neccessary for the gameplay imo, though.

Red: All barrels are misaligned!
Yellow: The upper part of this passage looks strange. I would use the same wide for the wood there.


Yellow: You need to rotate some more faces here.

Ok here is
Land in the cave Beta 2 ;)
Fixed everything chef said +added some gameplay improves (moved flags, added bds)
Known bugs:
Message says beta 1 instead of beta 2
i will probably have to move the second flag again i am not sure if this position is good, but i will see when we will get oppurtinity to try gameplay ;)

I decided to make beta 3 without any responses because i get idea about the mid ;)
Fixes:
repleaced the mid hill with ramp i think this should improve gameplay because there is better view now
Just fixed the message so now it says beta 3 :P

Nice. The new mid area looks cool and is aligned well :)

Did you ever test the map online? I'd like to see how it plays with people. I could imagine it works good :D

I'm still not sure about the reflective water. Is the water part really neccessary for the gameplay?


I'd add a clip brush here. Or you can move the box a little bit, just an other possibility to avoid the blocking edge.


What about this? The left brush would have the same wide than the other ones. I think that would look much more clean.

Well i tested just the b1 but it wasnt that good. Still i think the b3 should be much more better i will try to force somebody to test it :D
According to the water, its not neccesary for gemaplay but i think it looks really nice there :D, but ok i will try to delete the water for next beta ;)
1.pic - good idea didnt see that
2.pic - hmm i thought i fxed both brushes. will do so for next beta ;)
i will try to make another beta as soon as i get home

deleted water :( (ok it lowered the rspeed by 1000 but it doesnt look that good! :D )

Looks nice, but I'm not sure what the gameplay will be like.  I've put it up on the beta server for testing.  PM me if you need the login.

A few things that bug me:

- The flag and capture point being up on the table things makes it too easy to defend, I think.  It'd be a shame to delete the details, but I think it would play better without those.  My general rule of thumb is that you should be able to grab the flag while moving backward and aiming at an enemy.  Trying to do those jumps backward is rather cumbersome.
- There should be a 3rd angle of approach to the flag platform - you either go through the high tunnel or the low path up the box/ramp, but there's not a quick path from the other low path - you have to move around and go up the boxes.
- The ramp on the narrow box by the flag platform has rock walls that stick out on the front and back of it, often causing you to shoot off to the left and miss the flag.
- You can fall behind the 2nd flag.

so i added ramp so now you can grab flag a bit faster and you can grab the flag backwards :P idk if it will be for some use

idk what do you mean never happened to me, anyway i added the ramp to the flag so now it doesnt depend so much ;)

More fixes:
Made 2nd flag less campable i think
Added speed for the second way
Reduced number of players that spawned with spyder so now only 2 players can spawn with spyder on the beginning
Added crate next to the flag so now the side tunnel is faster then main way

I'd move the first-flag-plateau a little bit to the left side, so you can pass it right (crouching).

Maybe you could add an info_player_start entity with "angle" "#", e.g. for the screen behind the scoreboard at the end of the map.

Didn't notice the following stuff before. I don't like the secret rooms. However, there's no entrance for the one at the yellow base.

I'm not sure why you are added two tracer weapons there, if all players spawn with carbine oder spyder. I wouldn't do a downgrade like this, but maybe someone would like to :)

The flag nearish mid should be worth less, (I'm assuming that's flag 2), I'd say 3 or 4, then 5 or 6 for the 1st flag.

Other then that, the map looks interesting. Definitely a nice new style of gameplay that will come from it. Flags far apart which forces more of a mid-game. The recon could get really confusing though.

What do you mean by that platform? Where? :D I am about to release new beta but i want to fix this first :P

Does it destroy fps or gameplay? :P I added it just for fun. Like on carpathian there are those..."people" :D and i added tracer just for fun,  its a bit funny when you kill somebody with tracer and he has carbine at least for me :D
