Server list empty; game says it can't connect to DPball.com

I just dowloaded the entire game and
when i prees play no game or anything shows up
so i press update and in the backroun thing it says it can't conneect to DPball.com
i don't know how to fix
i woul dreally like to play this game
cuz it looks like a ton of fun
pleease help ASAP!

Check to make sure your firewall hasn't blocked paintball2.exe from accessing the Internet.

If it can't connect to dpball.com, and you obviously can because you're posting here, something must be specifically blocking paintball2.exe from making connections.  I think windows firewall does this by default.  Additional software, like some of the Norton stuff or ZoneAlarm, will do it, too.  Make sure everything has it unblocked.

You weren't prompted with any kind of dialog to "Keep Blocking" or anything when you first loaded Paintball2?  What OS do you have?  XP?

i was prompted by Norton
to block it from using the DNS server
i made a rule and allowed
but all my homemade firewalls neversayed anyhting
i went through them all nothing has showed
i even uninstalled a couple because they're hardcore ones and stilll not progreesss
i have windows XP
home edition

i had a similar issue. hit Update on the multiplayer browser. not refresh. when i hit refresh i thought there were no servers and i was dissapointed. then i hit update... then they all came up :-D

** oh and another idea is to shut off all ur firewalls for a sec and try it then... then slowly add ur firewalls back and see what the problem is cuz it seems u have alot of firewalls on at once?
