Boy this sure has changed since I last visited. I remember way back when a stand alone program was being talked about. Now its become a reality. Haven't been able to get on and play anywhere, maybe a good thing cause I'd get beaten like a b4st4rd stepchild. Any way I can go into a map and use it by myself to get used to the buttonology again before getting painted by an opponent?

Go to console and type:
"map <mapnamehere>"

If you've already loaded a map, and want to change the game mode, type:
"newmap <mapnamehere> <gamemode>"

I suggest DM as gamemode if you're playing maps by yourself.

I got on for a few mins and jammed a bit at Scythes (I hope that's right) server and was owned. Getting two big ol' map packs so I am not so much of a lagwagon.

It's going to take me some time to get back into the swing of things around here. I can't remember everyones names but I could probably recognize them on the maps (as I stare at everyone from the dead position).

From the facts I gathered...

Quake2 was released December 6, 1997.
Digital Paint was released July 31st, 1998.
It is currently May 31st, 2006.

I'm sure we ALL believe SkAtEr entirely, right folks?
